That's what I think, too. The weather where Foster's is located is too cold in winter for whatever part of California that lovely mansion in the photo is located. Seattle wouldn't be that far from Canada, either, though a drive to Hollywood would be one heckuva day trip! The rabbits in "Camp Keep a Good Mac Down" mentioned wolves, and there are no wolves left in California, though there have been many sightings in Washington state that indicate they have returned to that state. The way people talk, the general atmosphere, everything pretty much points to somewhere near Seattle in that series.
