Another Washington state town, Grapeview, is found about an hour further south, but has more beach access, and is not as mountainous as Bellingham(more hilly, like what we often see on the show), and it actually DOES have a Wilson Way! Even though it's more distant from Canada, you also have to consider the VERY strong possibility that Goofball's estimations could have been WAAAY off, given that he wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer! Either of those towns would be a very good candidate, but either way, I'd definitely say that the show takes place in Washington State. pitbulllady |

There is a Wilson Avenue in Bellingham, but no Wilson Way.
So it just might be Grapeview, Washington. Ah, the wonders of Google earth(R)!

on Pranks For Nothing when the picture was showing the outside of the hotel there was a sign by the road that said "I-5 Freeway" ![]()

Was it really? I honestly didn't notice that, and I've seen the episode twice. I hope that Sparky can catch that in her screen grabs, but that would totally make sense, being that I-5 runs through both Bellingham and Grapeview. Bellingham is really probably the better candidate, though, given its size, and when I zoomed out, I realized that it does have a rather nice little beach(probably complete with jellyfish), and fits the bill perfectly. It also has Western Washington University, which could very well be where Frankie earned her degree in whatever it is she has that degree in. We can forgive them not having a "Wilson Way", since Wilson Avenue is close enough! By the way, you don't have to put spoiler tags, Mac-a-Lacka, unless it's for an episode that most folks haven't seen yet. pitbulllady |

Hope I'm not breaking any rules by double posting but I wanted to point this out...I-5 doe's not go through Grapeview.

I dunno, I don't think we're supposed to think the show takes place in a real town. I believe it's a fictional one, so the I-5 could go through/past it. It could be *near* this Grapeview, but I don't think the show is supposed to take place in any real town.

There was a new clue in "Pranks for nothing!" Theres a sign outside of the hotel that says Highway 15. Mr. Herriman said that the hotel was several hours away from fosters (can't remember exact number).
Washington and Oregon could both work. This also means the episode "Pranks for Nothing" took place in either Montana, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, or California Last edited by Jack; 05-02-2008 at 10:01 PM. |
