![]() In case anyone's interested, with the commercials removed the movie's runtime is 1:05:29, which is about three minutes longer than House Of Bloo's. A DVD is being burned as I type this; an avatar set will no doubt follow fairly soon.

I've always loved the those types of gags where you see something like that and it's left up to the viewers fertile imagination to fill in the blanks and come up with their own crazy theories as to what the deal was. Kind of like that part in the episode Make Believe it or Not, where Bloo came up with some kind of crazy eclair snatching scheme involving sombreros which of course never came into play due to the events of that episode, but you are left wondering with a feeling of what could have been.

![]() I've actually been pondering something since the movie ended. What could the creator of The World have been going through, what sort of life did he have, that would prompt the creation of such a friend? Any theories?

By the way, excellent episode. Second only to "Blue Superdude" in my opinion.

![]() I think the only thing that actually irked me about this movie, outside of the fact this is essentially the last BIG hurrah for Fosters was the fact that I felt a little saddened that they didn't show a patch up scene between Mac, Frankie and the others. Granted she was under a lot of stress at that time and she had every right to be upset like she was because let's face it: those things needed to be said.
But I always felt Mac was the one kid she could trust and be genuine with and I was just a little disappointed to not see them have a visually proper apology with each other or something. As far as the Face goes, I was under the personal assumption that his previous kid did not create him and that he was some just found in the attic like some sort of mystical, magical chest thing. Kind of like Jumanji, it was made by god knows who and fell from person to person to person. Of course I could be wrong and probably missed it if they said the previous kid did create the chest and the Face but that's just a theory of mine.

I, too, was a bit disappointed that there was no "patch-up" scene. Frankie should have figured that if the guys were willing to risk their lives for her, there was a LOT more to it than them just wanting her to come back and do stuff at the house for them. pitbulllady |

![]() I posted this elsewhere, but am I the only one who felt that Frankie was a bit out-of-character in this special? I mean, she turned her back on the real world for several weeks and it was implied at several points that she had no desire to ever return to the real world. However, what about her friends? What about Madame Foster? What about the Imaginary Friends who did treat her right, such as the babies who can’t take care of themselves. Frankie could have gotten some of those Imaginary Friends killed, as even though a lot of them unfairly relied on her, there were quite a few who really needed her help. After she left, the house fell apart.
Also, there was one scene that reeked of hypocrisy. Frankie told World that she would never leave him without telling him, as that isn’t what friends do. However, Frankie did just that when she ran away from the real world without telling any of the people who cared about her. I know that Frankie was upset. I do. However, it just didn’t seem like something that she would do. She has always shown immense compassion throughout the series and even in the most trying times, she stayed because she cared about everybody. She spent her youth at Foster’s. She’ll even inherit the place one day. I just don’t see why she would suddenly pull a 180 and go hide in a magic box while the Imaginary Friends roll around in their own filth and starve. All: "But Frankie we need you!" Eduardo: "I miss how you sew up my beanie baggies when they rip!" Wilt: "I'm sorry but I miss how you pumped up my basketballs so they were always just right!" Mac: "I miss how you help with my homework, even if it's like a really long math problem!" Coco: (Who knows?) Bloo: "Besides, who's gonna make us Frankie Foster's famous french toast?" If I thought the only reason people liked having me around was because of the chores I take care of and the the stuff I do for them I'd be pretty fracked off myself. People need to know that they're appreciated for who they are, not just for what they do. Quote:

Did those things need to be said? Absolutely, but the Fosters crew knew they hurt her and they felt bad about it and it was just a minor thing I thought would have been a nice "touch up". As for what The Huntsman was talking about, I think we all can agree that Frankie does not have an ordinary or a simple job by any means and that its far easier to push her to the edge then anyone else. The first opening sequence of Frankie's day in the movie and the daunting tasks that were hurled upon the "new Frankies" by Mr. Herriman give us perfect examples of just how immeasurably stressful and difficult Frankie's work load is. This was no simple job nor was this a simple house, she had to deal with creatures who are capable of all kinds of messes and multiple needs. Not to mention still cook, clean, and put up with crazy outsiders (like Cass mentioned). Let's be honest here, Frankie has a heart of gold and is extremely dedicated but at the end of the day: she's human just like us. You work all day at a staggering job where everyone depends on you every day, every day, and you get NO help, NO thanks, NO appreciation, NO support, NO consideration for your own feelings and NO relief from your boss or your friends. Can you recall the last time at Fosters anyone EVER volunteered to help Frankie out? I mean besides big occasions like birthdays and stuff like that, no one ever offers to help. Frankie just got fed up, people like her can have noble goals and noble ambitions to do the job that needs to be done but let's face it, if you do something for years and years and don't get a single ounce of any appreciation its going to bug you, no matter how much you tell yourself "this job isn't about praise." Face it, sometimes it is about praise. A little bit of thanks goes a long way and even the people who say its nothing or don't want to be thanked, deep down they do want it because it feels good inside to be appreciated by someone and having your hard work acknowledged. Frankie never got that and after getting a taste of what a dream life felt like, she chose to escape. We all do it, we do it in our books, our movies, our TV shows, our vacations. We want an escape and sometimes we'll do anything it takes to get it, even if it only lasts for a brief moment. Look at Spider man. He gives everything to his super hero career and has sacrificed friends, family, relationships, school, and everything else just to be a hero and in the end, people turn on him or think he's more menace then hero. At times, he's quit being Spidey because he's fed up with being crapped on. People want to know they are doing good in the world and in this world, Frankie was being appreciated and given the time off and relaxation her body and her nerves DESPERATELY needed. So no, I don't think it was out of character for her to do this in fact, I felt this was the escape that has been years in the making.
