Default One other Place to Visit...

NOTE: If you are skittish about flying, do not read this!

While I am in San Diego, I am going to visit Dwight and Nile streets (I have not done this since being stationed there).

This was ground zero (impact point) of the PSA 182 crash 30 years ago (September 25, 1978).

For those of you unfamiliar with this tragedy, my friend who lived near the area at the time, said this was San Diego's "9-11." If you want to know the details - google PSA 182. This airline never had a mishap with a fatality until this crash. It was the worst airdisaster in California history, and aviation history (only to be surpassed 8 months later with American Airlines 191 crash @ Chicago O'Hare).

Anyway - I just want to lay a flower there.
