Default My grandmother died last night.

At 11PM last night my parents got a call from the hospice that my grandmother wouldn't eat, so they went to see her, she eventually passed away when her body couldn't handle the malnurishement.

Shes going to be cremated today at the funeral home.

RIP.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I was closer to my paternal grandparents than to my parents, so I can sympathize with losing a grandparent. My grandmother passed away under similar circumstances in 2003, two years after my grandfather died. She just gave up after he passed away.

Sorry to hear that Xroc, I lost both of my paternal grandparents in recent years (my maternal grandparents had both died before I was born), so I understand how painful it is. You and your family have my deepest sympathies.

I'm really sorry, it's a unique kind of pain and I remember it very well. She sleeps now with every living being that has ever been, beyond all pain and beyond sorrow. She lives in memory and from there she can still give you help and love.
