Here's a brief history on the formats and providers of the closed captioning on Foster's.

SEASON 1 AND 2
Captioning was centered, and done by National Captioning Institute.

SEASON 3 AND 4
Scrolling "real time" captioning, done by NCI.

SEASON 5 AND ONWARD
Again, scrolling "real time" captioning, currently done by VITAC.
