A happy Mid-Autumn Festival to you too and everybody! The moon is very round, bright and clear here tonight but I'd still call this early Autumn because most of the leaves and needles are still on deciduous trees. Our North American pals wouldn't even call it autumn at all of course.

Happy mid-Autumn festival! Yum, mooncakes! I had some once a good decade or so ago. I do remember they were yummy.

My area of the US is well known for the dreary gray days and the rain, but although we were socked in with a thick fog all morning, we actually have a clear sky this evening, and the full moon is rising. I can see it clear as day out my sliding glass door. It's orange in color and big and round.... It's beautiful tonight!

Our trees up here are starting to change color. They won't reach peak vibrancy for another month, but there are some nice oranges and yellows speckled in among the evergreen trees already. The mountains here are expected to get their first "Fall" snowfall this weekend. That'll be fun.

Oooh, it's almost October. Halloween time. Yay!
