I loved all three of them. If I had to pick a fave, I'd go with the third, "The Last Crusade", as that was the one I enjoyed the most, especially the scene where Dr. Jones is on the edge of the abyss. Very dramatic.

I saw the release date annoucement as well. Very cool.
I love all three films. They are the kings of action/adventure blockbuster cinema, and hold up far better than many modern action films. Indy himself is one of my all-time favorite fictional characters. |

"Adventure has a new name...."
I love the Indy series. My fave will have to be Raiders of the Lost Ark. I've always love the gem of a story about when Indy shoots the big guy with the sword. See, that scene was supposed to be a big thing with Indy's whip, but Harrison Ford was sick with dysentery, and could barely handle a whip. So he says, "Well why don't we just shoot the damn thing?" *sighs* "No time for love Dr. Jones" |

The Indy movies were all Much better in a Theater than on the small screen, But they were all great Films. I also enjoyed the Series. (despite it being so short lived.) THe Arcade Game was fun also. but the Atari game was BAD

Does anyone about the fourth Indy movie?
If so, when does it come out? I'm just curious, that's all.

I've heard about this movie for years, it's been in development hell which is the most difficult stage for a movie to pass and most movies end up getting dumped during this stage. Some films last decades in development hell, this being one of them.
This idea is nothing new, the big concern was making sure the same team including Ford, Spielberg and Lucas were all involved and they are. They've been working in this a long time which is nice because it shows they are going to put some real effort, time, and care into it. The funniest tid bit I heard bout this film was Ford possibly walking due to a complaint over a very STUPID prop problem. Supposedly Ford's agent and the producers were so worried bout his health doing stunts at this age, they were going to not give Ford a real whip and use a CGI whip instead. Ford threatened to walk and called it "ridiculous", demanding a real whip be used again. Far as I know a real one will be used but still, can't help but laugh at how anal and stupid this really sounds.
