Since Youtube's use has come into play here, I'll be more then happy to toss in some of my own personal favorites. Most of which are anime and I think whether you guys like anime or not, will find these to be EXTREMELY catchy:
Ghost Stories Good lord, i can listen to this song for hours. Every time I hear it, I wanna get up and dance to it, its so very catchy and upbeat. http://youtube.com/watch?v=HOXsUoLgWu0 Mahoromatic One of my favorite animes of all time, this song has a kind of sweet but sad thing going on with it. Its a very touching song in my opinion, just by the tone of it. http://youtube.com/watch?v=9tgpjftgA68 Sonic X To be frank, the show was okay in the beginning but all in all i thought it sucked bad. However the opening theme was INSANELY catchy despite the fact 90% of Sonic X fans despised it. Call me crazy but I find it to be very catchy. http://youtube.com/watch?v=JIJYnhWultM King of Bandit Jing This is a really weird, very exotic anime but it has by far one of the BEST opening anime theme songs I have ever heard in my life. Once your hear it, I guarantee you'll want an MP3 of it. http://youtube.com/watch?v=bhedJwobHQY Buffy the vampire slayer Say what you will about this cult show, I find it hard to dislike its theme song. Its so strong and so fast I feel its such a great tune to bang your head to. Ignore the fact its a DBZ parody video and trust me, I think you'll like this song. http://youtube.com/watch?v=JxYjj-svgJY Bucky O'Hare I'm the sole surviving fan of this cartoon show, no one knows it existed more or less or its freaking cool theme song. The lyrics are more complex and mouthful then your average quick lyrical sounding songs and it has a bit of rock to it so I think you'll like it. At the very least it allows me the guilty pleasure of spreading Bucky's awareness to a few more people online . http://youtube.com/watch?v=k6Mh7hhaqhk Mighty Morphin Power Rangers With the exception of Inspector Gadget included, I really feel this is one of the greatest most iconic and well made TV theme songs EVER made. http://youtube.com/watch?v=OfOACVCOJsM

I mean how can anyone hate on a starship crew that consists of a psychic cat, giant baboon, a robot and a four armed duck with a new york accent....There was some human guy as well (Willy, I think his name was) but I didn't care much for him. The Nintendo game was pretty cool too, even though is was fling your controller through the TV styled hard.

His very role in entering the show is a dream come true for me, and I especially loved the fact that geeky Willy actually got some brownie points going on with the psychic cat girl, Jenny. Now THERE is someone I clap my hands to. Anyone who scores with a toon is okay in my book . The show was VERY short but VERY detailed, the animation was seriously beyond its time. I particularly loved the unique and bad ass looking villains. Their appearances were so creative and colorfully unique. Al Negator, Toadborg, Komplex and the Toad Air Marshal. ahhh good times.

I may have already mentioned this at the beginning of this thread, but I'll explain my reasons:
Inspector Gadget Like Mr. Marshmallow said, this is probable one of the greatest theme songs ever, if not the greatest cartoon theme song ever. A classic show should have a classic theme, and Inspector Gadget is no exception! Upon listening to it, you already know that it's a classic theme, and it works really well with the opening animation. I could explain it a bit more, but that's all to say about this. A brilliant, well-made theme!

Well with Bucky O Hare and Inspector Gadget already covered that saves me the trouble of posting them on my latest list of TV theme songs I enjoy, because todays theme is AMERICAN (In America) Animated program themes.
(BTW The Theme for for FHFIF is not on this list because I want to shine the spotlight on other toon themes, and besides if I wan't to talk about how awesome the Foster's theme is, I can just make a thread for that.) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: One of the most recognizable and awesomest 80's toon themes out there, the kind of song where every beat note and lyric oozes pure attitude. Turtle Power! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Zc2u5-h540 Batman Beyond: One of the very few "next gen" shows that actaully works and while it doesn't fully surpass the original Batman: The Animated Series, it comes pretty darn close. (Plus you gotta love Bruce Wayne as a cranky old man.) The rocking theme played against one of the coolest and stylelistic openings ever totally sets the mood and tone of the show perfectly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlobF...eature=related The Tick: Normally when you think about your average super hero theme the last thing that comes to your mind is "Scat Singing", but the Tick is far from your average superhero. And this theme song is far from average too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUW0lj5CfuQ Freakazoid: And speaking of Superhero Parody shows...any theme song that mentions Sigmund Freud and Floyd The Barber deserves to be on my list. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iF96...eature=related Animaniacs: The Warner Brother love continues, with this classic theme. Zany to the max...indeed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lga3KNKqRDc Bump in the Night: And while we are on the subject of Rob Paulsen...yep he was in this 1994 claymation show along with fellow voice acting legend Jim Cummings. The theme song is so infectious that it gets stuck in your brain and doesn't want to let go, no matter how hard you try...hence why it's on mah list. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PaQ27Hu8ix0 Spongebob Squarepants: Weather you like the show or don't, that's irrelvent. But you have to admit this is one catchy tune. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoE7IerSXZo Commercial Break Now what's number eight on my list? Why it's... G.I Joe: And know you know, and knowing is half the battle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DN034sBeF4c (Special extended movie edition of the theme.) Futurama: Welcome to the world of toooooooooomorrow. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cYgqSdjMTk The Powerpuff Girls: You know that show that one guy did, before he went off made that other show that we all seem to like and stuff. Yeah it had pretty good theme music too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpjVR...eature=related

The Tick was a weird one, it was jazzy and funny at the same time. I always thought all those weird "da da dwee dah" lyrics was just them being goofy. Some of my other favorite US TV openings include: Godzilla the series: Very dark, cool melodramatic music. Some really neat visuals with the monsters attacking in the intro, and for just instrumental music I felt it made for a very great TV tune. http://youtube.com/watch?v=aQENCPSCVjg Attack of the killer tomatoes: You wanna talk about memorable songs? This one just screams catchyness. Its goofy, funny, and SO damn addicting to listen to. Never get tired of hearing it. http://youtube.com/watch?v=36NgK-vJc1M

1960's Spider-Man! They should of used it in the movie besides the credits.
1980's Transformers, same above. Except it wasn't even used in the credits. |

The Jimmy Neutron theme is pretty kickass too, considering it was performed by Man Or Astroman.
