Man, I was working on the hair today and I screwed up, and I need to buy more of the brown suede, but the fabric store I went to today was out. If they don't have it at any of the other Hancocks, I'll have to find another fabric altogether to use.

In other news the two fan units are all done and ready to install, I just have to make the hair first so I can be sure of *where* to place them.

If suede doesn't work or you can't find any more, a really short brown faux fur may work ok. I don't know how expensive it'd be in comparison to the suede, but it would probably give off the same impression of hair (or better) as/than the suede.

As usual, I'm so excited to see the finished product!

I looked everywhere for more of the light brown suede, and nobody has it anymore.

It's a discontinued fabric. So I suck for messing up. I went ahead and bought some nice upholstery suede to replace it, its a bit darker though. Turns out that "Mac Hair Brown" is a VERY hard shade to match, I was extremely lucky to have found it before...oh well. I have something. Its a good brown, its not TOO dark.

Anyways tonight I made the backpack, and I posted pictures of that as well as the fans that I made a few days ago.

Sorry to hear that you had a great deal of difficult finding the right color for Mac's hair. The backpack looks good.

I am nearly done with this. It looks like complete and utter crap.

I'll bring it to the Con, but I may just wear the outfit with either a wig or just cut my hair short (I plan to get it cut before the Con anyways) some of the time.
