I also wanna see Wolverine if that's released next year. Hopefully it has the same style as X2.

In 2008, I'm looking forward to Synecdoche New York (Charlie Kaufman's comeback, now also in the director's chair, after the masterful Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind), Be Kind Rewind (everybody see the trailer, it's hysterical), Sweeney Todd (if WB doesn't butcher it too much), Charlie Wilson's War (it's Aaron Sorkin! it's gotta be good, right? ...right?), Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, The Darjeeling Limited, Fanboys, Ponyo On A Cliff, The Dark Knight, Cloverfield orwhateveritendsupbeingcalled, The Fantastic Mr. Fox (Roald Dahl! Wes Anderson! Animation! The ultimate awesomeness collission!), the 4 Futurama direct-to-DVD features, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Horton Hears A Who, Get Smart (the trailer actually makes the remake look good, I'm as surprised as you are), There Will Be Blood, No Country For Old Men, Burn After Reading, Bee Movie (yup, it comes out in 2008 around here), Watchmen (my favorite graphic novel of all-time on the big screen!), and of course, WALL-E, which after reading the complete plot looks like the greatest animated feature ever produced in the history of mankind.
And I bet I'm forgetting a whole bunch of movies. EDIT: Told you so. Last edited by Starsky; 09-05-2007 at 03:02 AM. |

The most REALLY interesting tidbit about the Wolverine movie is the fact that both Brain Cox and Tyler Mane are coming back to play as Colonel Stryker and Sabertooth. Hell yes! The creators say they purposely didn't give Sabertooth many lines or much depth in the first film intentionally for this spin off. The idea is to show that Wolverine soon realizes just how important Sabertooth, Stryker, and Lady Deathstrike were to him in the past after realizing what he did to them in the present. I LOVE Sabertooth so hearing that he's going to be back and have a bigger role is VERY big for me .

I know, I've been reading all these reviews from the Venice Film Festival like the dork I am, and I'm lovin' what I'm hearin'! Also, it's going to be rated R! Thank you, Sweeney Todd gods! I can't WAIT for this movie! |

I'm really looking forward to The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything VeggieTales movie. It looks like one of the better CGI-animated films and it's one of the few movies I'm interested in general this year.
