The question I'd like to know is how did Madam Foster come to posess the box in the first place?

Okay, my Dish 500 defines the plot as this:
"The gang must venture into a crazy imaginary world to rescue Frankie when she disappears inside a"...No really, it ends like THAT. ![]() Well, I'll finally see what happens in the 90 minute runtime, so yay. =P Last edited by antgirl1; 11-27-2008 at 03:57 PM. |

That was the most enrapturing 13 minutes of TV I have ever watched. Oh, I hope the rest is this good!

And I can't believe Bloo cursed! He said "you just pissed [The king of the Toybox] off"! No wonder this is TV-PG now! ![]()

Comedy, drama, action, excitement, and best of all, heart. Absolutely worth the wait; I am totally happy. Best episode ever.

That was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! While not as "ha-ha funny" as some regular episodes, it more than made up for it in adventure and pure heart! I was reminded several times of some of Clive Barker's alternate-universe novels, like Weave World or Imaigica, without the gore. There was, though, several times, a very real sense of danger and foreboding, though I never had any doubts that Frankie's ability to reason and settle disputes would win out in the end. There were many times I was on the edge of my seat, and I loved the use of the innocent toys of childhood as instruments of doom. I loved it-absolutely loved it! Ms. Faust has out-done herself this time, no doubt!
Oh, is it just me, or did the antagonist Imaginary Friend(I'm rather loathe to call him a "villain")remind anyone else of the young Buddy Pine in The Incredibles when he was in that little red-headed kid guise? And, BN-in the opening credits, only Lauren Faust(and that IS her name; she's not just "Mrs. McCracken")is credited as the writer of this episode, though many, many others contributed, no doubt. And, Sparky will have screencaps ready when she gets 'em ready. If that takes longer than next week, oh, well. I for one do not want her to feel pressured by anyone to get the screencaps up, since we all should remember this is something she does as a favor to US, not something she's under any obligation whatsoever to do. But yeah, Destination Imagination certainly deserves an Emmy, as did Good Wilt Hunting, and I guess only time will tell if the folks who decide on such things agree. pitbulllady Last edited by pitbulllady; 11-27-2008 at 05:54 PM. |

BTW, the credits were Madame Foster returning from a vacation (to Europe, perhaps) and the house is empty. And we all know Sparky's gonna have screencaps as early as next week...and PBL, don't forget TIm McKeon helped out with Mrs. McCracken's work as well. If this isn't nominated for an Emmy as a farewell, then the world as we know it is upside down...
