The Aquabats!
It was only a matter of time before a made an Aquabats thread, and i think before a discussion is had, you'll have to here some music, here's some music videos:
Super Rad Fashion Zombies now we may begin. I've been listeneing to the Aquabats for four years now, and it's probably been one of the best decisions of my life. I guess because when I've been down, they're one of the things that can bring me right back up. They're just so weird and goofy, and yet, so real, because they're not out there to be cool, they're out there to have fun, y'know, thier songs are stupid ones you and your best friends would make up while goofing around, not sugar coated manufactured pop junk that's on the radio. I guess that's the best part about them, they're very different, yet in being so it makes them down to earth. |

Aquabats. Anything like that Streetlight Manifesto stuff? I never listened to it. My friends do though. I'm more Death Metal/Psych Rock

aquabats like streetlight, hardly. (but they were the supporting act for the aquabats last time i saw em in december, they were awesome)
they started as surf/ska stuff (think dick dale mixed with... madness, and devo) then their 2nd album was... i dunno, a bit less surf but still ska their 3rd and 4th are like happy oingo boingo, not that oingo boingo wasn't happy, they were just a little dark. then their 5th is more like... happy modern rock/punk with synthesizers, because all their horn players have left . but they're workin on a new album (and a tv show) right now, and it's supposed to be more like their middle stuff, so i'm way excited!
