I cannot decide,

but I have to admit Bond movies are always good no matter who the actor is. for instance when you compare any Bond film to similar movies in the same Genra (thomas Crown affair, In Like Flint, ...) there is no comparison Bond movie is always better. although those movies were good, but they still were no James Bond.

I feel that the original Sean Connery simply can't be beat. He apparently knew he would be defining a whole series of movies, and he set the bar well. Daniel Craig seems to be the closest to achieving the level of awesome that Connery's Bond brought to the movies.

I'm not a big Bond fan and the only Bond movie I really watched and enjoyed was Golden Eye. But I think Sean Connery was the best Bond, or at least my favorite. I'm just used to Brosnen as 007.

SEAN RULES!!! Honestly... I could clog up this forum with eighty reasons why, but I won't...

And Daniel Craig is a close second. Great actor...

And much like James Bond himself this thread has returned..

Aw, poor Tim Dalton is the only actor on the poll yet to receive any votes. Even Lazenby got one and he had the shortest stint of any of the official Bond actors, though to be fair "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" was a pretty good little flick and one of the few movies to be almost identical to the Ian Fleming novel from which it was based on.

Looking back on the Dalton Bond movies (The Living Daylights and License to Kill) you would have to admit they were pretty ahead of their time as you can tell that the producers wanted a grittier more realistic Bond to try and distance the series from the fun yet campy films of the Roger Moore era. Much in the same way Casino Royal was their successful attempt to try and distance the series from the fun yet campy later 2 films of the Brosnan era.

George Lazenby was a very good Bond.

And Daniel Craig is very good as well.

But, ya just can't beat Sean Connery.
