Just make sure that they do NOT have sponges in their enclosures; tarantulas do NOT drink from sponges and will become dehydrated and die, plus wet sponges are ideal places for deadly(to tarantulas)bacteria and fungi to grow. They shouldn't be kept on any sort of shavings, either, but on potting soil without the plant food or insecticide. Sorry to sound intrusive but I've seen too many tarantulas in pet shops that were improperly kept, and died as a result. pitbulllady |
