I'm considering it. Someone on one of the Sims sites recreated the house I'm using, which saves me some work, but despite the similar names, Sims 3 is not the same as Sims 2. We'll see.

In the meantime, Sims 3 has an Egyptian setting, where Sims can have all sorts of "fun":

Mummies amuse me.

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan. (Nintendo DS)

The first game from the insanely awesome rhythm game series* that was responsible for more broken stylus' and shredded screen protectors than any other portable game in history.

Don't believe me here is a video of the first game's final song...

And yes for you sharp eyed listeners out there that is the theme song to "Full Metal Alchemist"

(*Some of you may be familiar with OTO's American cousin Elite Beat Agents.)

Heck yeah! EBA is awesome! Definitely a gem that Nintendo should never have abandoned... I want EBA 2 darn it!

Me? I've been in a real Capcom mood thanks to the ever looming release date of Super Street Fighter IV. When not playing SFIV to keep my edge, I'm playing SFIII and SF Alpha 3 to refamiliarize myself with the returning characters.
Final Fight has also been big for me lately thanks to Final Fight Double Impact's release on XBL. I've been playing FFII on the Wii VC and the next time I pick up a points card I'll definitely download FFIII.

Sadly EBA didn't sell well as Nintendo would have liked (They were expecting to sell 300,000 units, but to date have only sold a bout one third of that number.) and now the company that made the games INIS is with Microsoft making their generic game Karaoke, LIPS.

It just steams my clams that the public at large ignored one of the true gems of the rhythm game genre in favor of crap such as "Just Dance."

However if Nintendo were smart they would use the DSi to bring OSU!/EBA back via DSiware, that way people can pick and choose what songs they want to play.

I've been playing Super Street Fighter IV like a mad man! I've been maining my old pal Adon and just loving the online competition. I only ever got to go to the arcades maybe 3 times as a kid, so I missed out on the social and competitive aspect of fighting games. I was a good console player growing up but after playing online I realized that I had a lot to learn. I've gotten so much better in such a short amount of time simply by playing real people so much.

SUPER COOL FUN FACT: Might make a Fanfiction when I know enough about the series. Also, chances are that you're reading this.

Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love (Wii, Also available for PS2)

Intro Movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLV4HDkpKIU

The latest in the long running series of Japanese, Graphic Adventure/Dating Sim/Tactical Role Playing Games. And the first to be localized and sold in North America.

For any one who hasn't heard of this series, the basic gist of these games has you playing as the sole male captain of an all lady squadron of battle robot pilots, and the social relationships you forge with these ladies will directly affect you and your squad's performance on the battlefield.

It's a fun niche title with a pretty good story, well drawn and expressive characters, unique setting ( In the case of this game, a very anachronistic version of 1920's New York) and a kicking soundtrack. And tons of reply value as you can end up with a different girl at the end of the game via the choices you make while playing.

The only minor gripes is the in game graphics can be a little on the bland side and some of the English voice acting can be a little grating at times. (But if you can find the PS2 version there is an option for Japanese voices.)

A pretty good find for those who like me, enjoy quirky niche titles.
