Cool The Mr. Men Show

I am addicted to this cute show on Cartoon Network. Although I am certainly familiar with the classic Mr. Men, I am definitely more a fan of the new show then the classic incarnations. In any case I was surprised, especially now as the second season airs, that there seem to be NO fansites or forums, so guess what I did. Lol its only a forum so far, the site will come later. Check it out if you're so inclined. I hope I'm not asking for it, here.

Anyways any other fans here? I know its for little 'uns but it can be clever and quite funny at times, and the characters are so appealing. A lot of the songs I find irritating, but some are cute.

I watched one episode of this during my 'stay at friend's place while looking for a new home' time. I did enjoy it, although I may have to see more episodes before I decide.

It usually comes on too early for me to catch it (when I have a day off), but the few times I've seen the show, I also find it very entertaining. I find it nostalgic some how, reminds me of some other shows I liked as a kid. I agree some of the music was a little annoying, some of those '70s sounds have that affect on me. But I enjoyed it. And the dolls/plushies that I've been seeing lately are also cute.

I haven't actually seen the new show (should check it out some time), but there was a time, as a kid, when I ate, breathed and slept the classic Roger Hargreaves stuff. I had most of the books and several of the story cassettes, I watched the 80s cartoon incessantly, plus I had a wall chart featuring all of the characters. I always loved Mr. Rush, Mr. Forgetful and Mr. Chatterbox.

(Given that Mr. Chatterbox was one of my favourites, it actually kind of annoys me that he went on to be pretty much displaced by his sister. I guess they decided that garrulousness was a more feminine trait, and thus that she was better marketable. Whatever.)

I've seen a few snippets here or there. It's a cute show, but it's not something I would go out of my way to see but I can see why it would have so much kid appeal.

I'll also add that it's way better the the mid 1990's Mr. Men show by a country mile.

For those wondering that was the version that took the Mr. Men animated shorts from the mid 1980's and added lame live action segments to them, just think the Super Mario Bros Super Show...only less funny.

Wow. It's great that these characters have been given great new legs, so to speak. They must be very old because they were around when I was very small and they were probably a great introduction to notions of form and attribute. Mr Tickle was my favourite as it used to crack me up the way he'd invade people's personal space. Mr Bump was a good design too and it was great to see him again on the smart new forum. Wonderful.

I used to watch this show all the time. I would even be up at 6 AM to see it. It's so entertaining.
I never get to see it anymore because it's on too early.

It's definitely a cute show. I don't recall reading any of the books. There are two versions of TMMS in English (US and UK casts). On both versions, Mr. Rude and Mr. Scatterbrain have the same voice-overs. I really like Mr. Tickle, Mr. Bump, and Little Miss Whoops.

I'm really starting to like this show. I've just watched some episodes on YouTube, and it's really starting to grow on me. My favourites at the moment are Little Miss Daredevil and Little Miss Scary.

Here in Australia, we have the UK cast.
