'Shaggy and Scooby-Doo! Get A A Clue!' was actually watchable if you forget everything in the past. If you had never watched previous Scooby Doo installments, I think one would like it a lot.

Also in my favs is Scooby-Doo and The Ghoul School!

Velma and Prince Omar concocted that as part of Cleopatra's curse. They must have set each other in stone (or cement molds) sometime before then when nobody was looking they placed them out so any interlopers would think they'd fallen victim.

Scooby's show was the third of CBS's triumvirate of Hanna-Barbera shows in the 1969-70 season. The first third was Dastardly & Muttley In Their Flying Machines. (Penelope didn't clear Atlanta at first as our CBS station ran a local kids show and only cleared Dastardly on a tape delay to 2 PM.)

A new Scooby animated series starts next year on CN. It's titled Scooby Doo: Mystery Inc. The name "Mystery Inc." was the gang's unofficial name, and was never used on the air in any of the series.

What a cool lineup for CBS. Funny, I have all that stuff on DVD now. Great to be a kid going into the '70's.
