Hope everyone had a good Christmas. I see that there's another Xmas thread in the Birthdays and Salutations section, so I'll most likely save the details of what I got for that.

Yay, I finally made it!
(censored for quality control) Oh, it was beautiful! It was my second time here in Seattle, fourth time total. I just love ballet! I can't take my eyes off the dancers' feet! They make it look so easy, but I know from experience it is not. I've read books and watched specials on TV, and got myself official attire and practiced at home, but I'm as ammeter as they come. I can barely balance en pointe (on the very tips of the toes) using both feet, forget only one, much less pirouetting (spinning) on one toe. Not to mention it hurts, ouch! But oh, it's so beautiful! It makes me dream! Now I can allow the holiday season to depart for another year. I've finally seen the Nutcracker! Oh, and for anyone wondering, I won't be changing my avatar until after the first of the year. I like to ease out of the season over the week between Christmas and New Years rather than cut it off cold turkey.
