I posted this elsewhere, but am I the only one who felt that Frankie was a bit out-of-character in this special? I mean, she turned her back on the real world for several weeks and it was implied at several points that she had no desire to ever return to the real world. However, what about her friends? What about Madame Foster? What about the Imaginary Friends who did treat her right, such as the babies who can’t take care of themselves. Frankie could have gotten some of those Imaginary Friends killed, as even though a lot of them unfairly relied on her, there were quite a few who really needed her help. After she left, the house fell apart.

Also, there was one scene that reeked of hypocrisy. Frankie told World that she would never leave him without telling him, as that isn’t what friends do. However, Frankie did just that when she ran away from the real world without telling any of the people who cared about her.

I know that Frankie was upset. I do. However, it just didn’t seem like something that she would do. She has always shown immense compassion throughout the series and even in the most trying times, she stayed because she cared about everybody. She spent her youth at Foster’s. She’ll even inherit the place one day.

I just don’t see why she would suddenly pull a 180 and go hide in a magic box while the Imaginary Friends roll around in their own filth and starve.
