Tiny Eduardo Cross-Stitch Pattern
Okay I haven't actually made this item yet, I just got through designing the pattern and I thought I'd share. This is what it looks like:
(I made the background pink so the white parts would show up.) Obviously, I used CG's Eduardo sprite. I know some of the colors look wonky, but when stitched with the DMC colors listed in the pattern file, it *should* look okay. I'm not positive though, since I haven't actually worked it yet. Okay so, here is the file: (File removed as I uploaded an updated one; scroll down) What you'll need to do is download the free version of PCStitch. With that version you can view and print patterns, you just can't save. (As it is for Windows this won't work for Mac, sorry.) edit: Sorry, forgot to say, that if worked in standard 14 count, it'd measure a bit over 3 by 3 inches when stitched.

If I didn't have like, a million other things going on right now, I'd definetely do it. It IS going on my list of things to do, though! Thanks Sparky!

It could probably use some backstitching though...I'm gonna stitch one and see what it looks like, then add backstitching if it needs it.

Beautiful pattern! Can't wait to see what it will look like when you've cross-stiched it.

I think my PCStitch program has the colors all wonky, because the corresponding floss for the colors I used in the pattern were all...weird. I redid the color palette, so that the flosses look right, but now on the pattern Eduardo looks blue-violet. Well, I'm going to stitch it, and take a photo, and then you guys can tell me what you think.
On retrospect I'm not so sure blowing the sprite up was the best way to make a pattern, and maybe I'll try redoing it less...pixellated-looking, and with backstitching. Like, for the hairs on his body, those should be backstitches, not full stitches. So, we'll see.

Okay I finished him, and made changes to the pattern as I worked. I've uploaded the new pattern file:
Here it is Here is what the pattern looks like in PCStitch: And here is a photo of the stitched piece (remember that I was altering the pattern as I went so it may vary slightly from the new pattern file: I dunno what I'm going to do with it yet.

I thought that was intentional to let us all in on the creative process. Which seeing how well the finished product turned out, I guess having somewhat of an audience didn't affect ya in the slightest.
