Default Torrid

(We don't already have a thread for Torrid, do we?)

Looks like Torrid, the plus-size store affiliated with Hot Topic, has started carrying Foster's stuff. I passed by one today and they had the teal Cheese "I Like Chocolate Milk" shirt. (This was one of the very first Foster's shirts to be sold at HT as I recall.) Instead of being in the XL and XXL sizes carried by HT it's in Torrid's sizes, 0, 1, 2, 3 etc. I hope they get more, although they'll probably just be the same designs that HT has had. I don't need to get thise one though as I bought it at HT and have since altered it to fit.

I think there's a Torrid in my mall, but I'll have to double check to be sure. I like to stop in plus-size stores now and then when looking for pajamas. Some of the XXXL tees or sweatshirts make for great night shirts. It'd be fun having a Foster's one. Thanks for the heads up.

I've never heard of this store, but it's ABOUT TIME, if you ask me! I haven't seen one of their stores in my state, but maybe I can get HT to order from them, if they're affiliated and both carry Foster's stuff. I really want that hoodie with the "Stoned Wilt" design, but HT only carries it in their version of a 1X, which is still very tiny. The "Craig's Blog" hoodie is available in a 2X, though, which I have, and which fits.

Here's the shirt on Torrid's website:

(You have to search for 'fosters,' because they don't have section for licensed products like HT.com does)

YAY! I love Torrid, and now that they're gonna be carrying some Foster's stuff, I'm really excited! XD Can't wait to hit a Torrid next time I'm somewhere where they have one. (Hopefully, it'll be when they have the Wilt shirt I'm looking for...)

Thanks for putting this out there, Sparky!

YES! Thanks for the heads up! I actually looked in a torrid a while ago hoping for foster's stuff. Next time they actually might have something! Thanks!

Default I guess this is a product review?

I bought the Cheese "I like chocolate milk" shirt this weekend, and am wearing it right now. It was a pretty good price-- I do beleive it was about $20, which is pretty good for a Torrid in Alaska-- and it looks nice, fits very well, very comfy.

So far it's gotten pretty good reveiws-- from my friend, at least. She saw me coming down the hall before school and she laughed and thought it was cute. So, yeah-- I'm rather pleased with it.

I guess its like, trendy plus-sized clothing? I shopped there sometimes when I was bigger but haven't been inside one in years. Most malls that have a Hot Topic also have a Torrid.

There's a HT at another mall here but no Torrid.
