Default Bloppy Pants

What do you folks think about Bloppy Pants, the shy, anxious cat imaginary friend? After watching "Schlock Star", he became one of my favorite lesser-known IFs. I'll admit that BP's personality is pretty close to mine, except I'm not that much of a nervous wreck...and I'm not very good at signing.

I like him, but I have to wonder why he seems so nervous all the time.

I think he's adorable. And he reminds me of a grey tabby cat wooden toy I had when I was a kid that I loved.

I like him too. When I was younger I was painfully shy and so nervous around strangers I came down with a stuttering problem, so I can relate to him. Thankfully I seem to have grown out of the stuttering except when I'm really stressed it comes back a little, and I'm much more outgoing now, but I still really "feel" for him. He kind of reminds me of Oliver Twist, although probably for little more reason than that drab sweater and the scarf. And yes, I also like his singing, now that we know he can sing.

I guess maybe he's just a scaredy cat. I suppose that maybe BP's creator had been a very shy, anxious person himself/herself.

The great Jeff Bennett (Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Lab) is the man responsible for the voice of Bloppy Pants.

The character's manner of speaking kind of reminds me of the way comedian Bob Newhart would talk during some of his bits. With all the umming and uhing and such.

I have loved Bloppy pants ever since I first saw him in World Wide Wabbit. He's just so darn cute! And he's just too awesome when he gets into his "I'm-the-lead-singer-of-a-band" mode.

Bloopy Pant's creator is a male; we saw him in GWH, remember?

Not everyone can remember all the small stuff, ant. However, you are correct.

Great observation!

I think Bloppy pants is great. I like seeing a shy character for a change instead of the numerous "in your face" types of personalities that rule the cartoon airwaves.
