The only thing I could find was a reference on IMDb that the show' release date is January 31st, 2025:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2131580...ef_=tt_dt_rdat Guessing there's been a production delay for whatever reason. |

I've heard nothing about Funtime. No updates on when it releases or anything.
Matter fact, I keep forgetting about Funtime |

I'm not too worried - CN seems to announce new shows the second they're greenlit these days, like, at the very start of production (pre-production?). I've seen it happen with the last few Adventure Time spinoffs, for example - they'll announce it and then it takes another year at least to get more specific news than "[name] just announced on their Instagram they're working on the show" etc. From what I remember Craig saying on his Twitter (which it seems he's deactivated since I last checked?) it sounded like that was the case here?
honestly I wish they'd stop it and save the announcements until the shows are closer to actually being done. I get that they do it to build up hype early and all, keep people in the fandom and whatnot, but I've found that all it really does is confuse people and lead to a bunch of threads asking if it's been cancelled. ![]() I did a bit of googling and found this Bluesky post by Craig back in February, sounds like it's still being worked on. I'm not sure if preschool shows differ in production in any way but going off when it was announced and what I've seen with other CN shows, I'd bet we won't hear more about it until closer to the end of the year? I could be wrong - I'm just speculating. Pretty sure that IMDB thing was just someone messing around :p Remember all the crazy things people used to put on the Wikipedia article back in the day?

Some new news from Annecy:
https://www.laughingplace.com/entert...announcements/ https://variety.com/2025/tv/news/ste...go-1236427960/ Some of this info seems a bit scrambled (I can see some glaring errors with the Adventure Time section in both reports...) but the Foster's info seems relatively error-free to me (apart from the obvious "Blue" thing). No release dates yet but it sounds like production's moving along nicely! There's also this new drawing of Bloo (not sure where it was originally posted, so sorry for linking to a repost...): https://adventure-time-news.tumblr.c...72966656049152 God just seeing a new Bloo pic by Craig is such a hit of nostalgia ![]()
