Default "Cheese Go Home!" - Interactive Fiction Game

When the forum was down I had time to finish my little text adventure I started on...what, years ago? Anyways. It's up now.

Click Here for a page with the link and instructions.

If you have trouble even getting it to run, online or offline, ask me for help here (that way other people with the same questions can see). If I can't answer you, Government Man may be able to, he's the one who told me how to do it.

I am concerned about people even being able to figure out the solution. None of my beta testers way back when could do it. It's okay to ask me for hints, but try to use spoilers. I won't give the solution here but if you really have to have it, PM me. It's important for me to know whether or not I made the game too tricky.

Please report any typos or the game doing things you don't think I meant for it to do. Also please feel free to make suggestions as to actions you can't perform in the game that you think you should. If it's not possible, I'll just say so.

ANYWAYS. In the game you play Frankie, who has plans to go to the Fair tonight with Kathy, but Cheese showed up while you were making dinner and WON'T LEAVE. If you can't get him out of the house by six, Mr. Herriman won't let you go out tonight. So use your head, and find a way to make him leave. Knowledge of one particular episode (not saying which) will be helpful, and examine *everything*.

I'm sorry, but I have no idea how to play. I'm more accustomed to the style of the other games. ^^;

If you can type on a forum, you can play interactive fiction.

But I get it, nobody cares. *shrug* Whatever.

The game has been updated with a full hint menu, some more actions to try, and I also made some cover art:

I don't think I'm getting the hang of it. But it's fun.

I don't know if these will be spoilers for the game or not, but I'm putting them in spoiler tags just in case.

Spoiler Below
I managed to pick up a sticky note, although I couldn't figure out what to do with it after that. I picked up the turkey baster off the counter and attempted to throw it out of the kitchen and have Cheese chase after it, thinking it was some type of toy (I always liked to play with them). But instead of throwing it, I just dropped it on the floor. I took inventory and found out I had Fizzy Rox on me, so I tried to entice him out of the kitchen with that, but he didn't seem interested, despite it being candy. I asked him if he wanted to play a game, and he said "I pooted".

I'll get the hang of it if I keep trying though.
