my life as a teenage robot
man.. its been, what? at least a year or two since ive seen this show. anyhow, this episode is the one of my favorites. the first part was about all of jenny's previous models. i cant really explain it, but it was pretty awesome. other part was where she gets to kindergarden. also hilarious. again, i cant describe it. uh, just go and watch it on youtube or somewhere else if you have the chance. titles of the parts are "sibling tsunami/i was a preschool dropout."

Futurama: A Tale of Two Santas
As Christmas specials go this one is one of the best, why? Well I can sum that up in four words. Coolio as the Kwanzaabot.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas.
Chuck Jones + Dr. Seuss = BLISS!!!! Actually there is one thing I've always wondered about this book/cartoon, are the Who's in this story the same Who's from "Horton Hears a Who"? If so, then where the heck was the Grinch when their entire civilization as they knew it was on the brink of extinction? I mean maybe the events of Horton could have taken place during the time when the Grinch was a still a sour-puss and hated the Who's. But even then, I would still think that old Grinch would have put up some kind of protest about being potentially wiped out by malicious outside forces. Oh, the things one comes up with when they let their mind wander to places far far away. (And are still waiting for it to return.)

Spicks and Specks - A Very Specky Christmas 2008
Those who know about the whole rickrolling thing... well, it had to happen here sometime. One of the questions was what artist and what song was used as for the rickrolling meme (which was the 1987 Rick Astley song Never Gonna Give You Up). As we were about to be shown a clip for the next question, the Rick Astley clip came on, so we all ended up getting Rickrolled!

Pee Wee's Playhouse Christmas Special.
How can anyone hate on a Christmas special that features the likes of Cher, Oprah, Whoopi Golgberg, Grace Jones, Little Richard, Charo, Magic Johnson, KD Lang, Annet Funicello, Frankie Avalon, John Rivers and the US Marines men's choir? No one without any kind of decent sense of humor, that's who.

Hole In The Wall (The Clipshow)
Who would have guessed that a game show in which contestants have to assume various bodily contortions in order to fit through incoming holes and avoid being knocked into a pool of water could be so unashamedly addictive? I'm really going to miss this series.
