The Calgary Flames/San Jose Sharks round one NHL playoffs game.

It was incredible to see the Flames come back to win it after being scored on three times in the first three and a half minuets in the game.

Sailor Moon again, but you probably already knew that. I'm terribly predictable. Anyway, I'm finally getting to see the Doom Tree saga, which is the first 13 episodes of the second season. I've been looking forward to this for a long time and so far I have not been disappointed. The storyline's premise interests me, the new "monsters of the week" are tougher than most of the earlier ones, the central villains are both complex and more sympathetic than the last bunch, and it's always nice to see the Sailor Scouts in action again. It's funny, too, in particular Episode #53, where Darien and Serena end up taking care of a toddler for a couple days. If you've seen it you know what I mean. Oh, and one thing I didn't expect; this has nothing to do with the plot and it's just my personal opinion, but oh my stars, Ann is so gorgeous!

The Doom Tree was the main saga I got hooked on, I ended up seeing Sailor Moon a bit out of order and it was the Tree arc that got me addicted to Moon. Most people actually don't care for the Doom Tree arc and don't consider it much of a "season" or "saga" because of its amazingly short length with Alan and Anne.

Anne was cute but WAY too rude and witchy to be someone I could really dig. I feel the monsters they dish out are much more unique in appearance and design then the previous Moon monsters. The Dark Moon family arc had some pretty good monsters (as you will see Cass ). Not sure if you saw it or not, but there's a GREAT Sailor Jupiter episode in the Doom Tree story involving Alan.

Outside of Moon for a minute, the last show I watched was Harvey Birdman: Attorney at law. I thought this show was totally unfunny and stupid at first, but the later/newer seasons are freaking hysterical! Its so random and bizarre, everything imaginable pops out of this show. I love it .

As I understand it, the Doom Tree story was written as filler, more or less, something to keep the fans happy while the writers and artists were still working on the Dark Moon story. Ann is not the most pleasant person, I agree, although I wonder how much of that is from her situation and how much is just her. (Still nicer than Rini, though. )

Haven't seen the Jupiter episode yet but obviously my interest is now piqued.

I don't know if this counts, but I watched some Animaniacs episodes on DVD a few days ago.

I really miss this show-- it's funny, plus now that I'm older I can catch all the little celeb cameos and pop culture references I missed as a kid. Plus I can appreciate the "Yakko's World" song, where he sings off the countries of the world (or at least those in the 1990's-- it's changed a bit, I do beleive): I'm taking a Contemporary World Studies course this year (a required-to-graduate deal for my high school), and we've done a TON of geography. So when there's a country I know, I can smile smugly and say, "I totally know that country's capital."

Yep. Apparently Wales didn't exist in the early 90s. Not according to Yakko anyway.

The last TV show I watched was an earlier episode of Whose Line Is It Anyway?, before my favourites Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie became regular players and the show really took off, but it still made very enjoyable viewing indeed, most notably for John Sessions' interpretation of the Scottish Zeus on "Desert Island Discs."

"Mantracker". I love seeing city people think that they can out smart a cowboy in the wilds only to end up terrified and running into the brush like wild animals after the first day.

Ben 10: Alien Force

I have to say they certainly impressed me with all the radical changes to the show. Its much darker, the designs for the aliens are much more diverse and (again) darker and its really nice to see the "adult" Ben and Gwen getting long better and turning out to be pretty interested grown ups.

The story is much more complex and they even included some deaths. All was going fine......until I saw Kevin 11. WHAT THE HELL DID THEY DO TO HIM?!?!? My god they totally butchered one of the best villains Ben 10 ever had, to be blunt and perfectly sincere about this, he's been castrated.
