Pulse

The original Japanese version. Loads better then the crappy US remake, and SO much more scarier then I first thought. Lots of cool, creepy ass scenes and dark music here. Some really good dark Japanese cinema stuff right here.

I don't normally watch foreign films unless they involve the supernatural, monsters, ghosts, or Godzilla. But after loving the US remakes of "The Ring" and "The Grudge" so much, I wanted to see what Japan's horror movies were like.

Wayne?s World 2

The Wayne?s World films are something of a guilty pleasure of mine. True, they?re hardly the most thought-provoking pieces of cinematic art ever devised, but they are consistently hilarious, with pretty much everything that Garth manages to stammer just cracking me up.

Wayne?s World 2 doesn?t quite match up to the original, chiefly because the plot is even flimsier (yes, exactly) and relies an ounce too much on pastiches of other movies to keep itself afloat (notably Field of Dreams and the Graduate), but the humour still comes thick and fast. I enjoy this one for Garth?s female double, the arbitrary street vendors (?you've gotta wonder if this is gonna pay off later on? ), Charlton Heston?s cameo and, of course, the various Woodstock references. Oh, and Cassandra?s father - he's pretty awesome.

Hostel II

Saw it in theaters on Friday. Easily one of the nastiest movies around, the gore amount isn't staggering but the LEVEL of gore is indeed vomit worthy. There's some intense stuff in here, some bad acting but some nice plot twists too.

All in all the first one was better. There were things in here I liked more then the first, but the original left on a much more pleasant note and the final gore scene is certainly not something I wanted to burn into the back of my mind. But it did anyway.

South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut, on DVD. This has been my favorite animated movie since I saw it in the theater when it first came out, and unless Foster's does something truly spectacular it probably always will be.

Ghostbusters

Also seen on DVD. I gotta say, this truly is one of the greatest movies ever made, a classic that has continued to withstand the test of time.

Every time I watch it, it always stays fresh, funny, entertaining and a total blast to watch. Stay Puft for president !!!

Hostel Part 2... Not fantastic, but definetely better than the first. They actually replaced some of the nudity and gore with a plot this time!
