i watched 'the invisible' and 'hot fuzz' this weekend. 'the invisible' was decent. not overly done, pretty good story line, kinda cheezy ending. after it was over i didn't beg for my money back. 'hot fuzz' was a typical british comedy (which i love). the 2 lead actors that were in 'shaun of the dead' were in this as well, and i find them very funny. i hope they do another movie together.

anyway, i watched Conan the Barbarian on DVD last night. Sooo underrated but sooooo good. Crom!

I probably seen that film more than any another in my time on earth, even more than I've seen Terminator, Arnie's finest role. Proper classics!

Last film I saw was The Lives of Others, a surprisingly sad and romantic film about a Stasi officer in 80s East Germany before the fall of the Berlin wall. If you don't mind films with subtitles, go see this.
This film gets a 4 mac rating. It's a bit cerebral but very nice!

Yeah, on second thoughts, mockumentary was probably the wrong word. "Documentary style" is probably a lot more apt.

Great film. Alan Bennett is a genius. I really regret missing out on the National Theatre play.

The last movie I saw was Requiem for a Dream.

An exceedingly grim little picture about four individuals whose lives get ruined by substance addiction, with some very hard-hitting editting techniques. I felt so sorry for Ellen Burstyn's character.

The next movie I see had better be a happy one.

Bill Murry, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis in an Ivan Reitman film....GHOSTBUSTERS. (1984) A classic film with a great cast that still stands up today IMHO.

Spider Man 3

I absolutely loved it. For a movie that seemed to cram alot of material, characters, and story into one film, I sure as hell was impressed. Very different kind of Spider man movie but a very good one.

Venom looked bad ass, there were a few minor nit picks but I still loved this movie.

Spider-Man 3

Basically the same thing as Mr. M. The great thing about this series is that you get to see how the director grew and learned from his mistakes. Don''t listen to the critics on this one, it's a must-see. I'm hoping to see it again real soon

My next movie in theatres will be 28 Weeks Later.

I agree with you guys. Spider-Man 3 rocked out loud. Peter going emo was hilarious. And Eddie's Spider Sense was good too.
