Earthstorm on Sci-Fi. The storyline was ludicrous, as it usually is for the channel's in-house productions, and while the characters were lacking in depth they were still likable, and the special effects weren't bad. I enjoyed it, which is all I ask of any movie.

Ice Age: The Meltdown on DVD.

One of FOX's better films in years. I freakin' love Diego!

Woo! Old-school neo-noir in a modern-day high school setting! I can't say I found it 100% convincing, but given how difficult it must have been to synthesize those two seemingly very alien elements together, I thought they did an impressive job. Plus, the slick editting techniques made effective use of what I presume was a pretty low budget. Points for originality, direction and tension.

Grind House

Good lord this movie is awesome! It's so much fun, there's insane amounts of gore, action, violence, it's a great, great movie. I was a bit disappointed with the second film's ending "Death proof" but this movie is hard not to like.

It has so much going for it.

Sky High

It may be a Disney movie but I can't lie, I actually enjoyed this movie quite a bit. I wouldn't buy it but it's a pretty decent flick.
