Yes, I find myself liking Wilt quite a lot, but not to the point wanting to be his wife!

To me, he's more of a role-model, you know? Because of him, I've become nicer to people, and willing to lend a helping hand to others. Then at school after eating lunch, watching kids play basketball, I sigh and say, "I wish I could remember to take my activity card with me," since that's how you get a ball or whatever, in my school anyways.

I'm glad and relieved that Wilt wasn't written off the show, because if he did, I'd wonder who else I can look up to. Bloo? NAH. Plus, if Wilt was written off, the fans would be so mad, including the fangirls, to actually form an angry mob to bring him back. But hey, at least they care.

Ya know, that's kinda how I feel...Actually, yah, a lot how I feel.

[Starfire voice]...So I'm not a fangirl? I am not a girl or a fan? I do not understand.[/Starfire]

Awww well said antgirl! I think you have the right idea of what it means to be a real and true fan. If someone like Wilt existed, I would just want to be his friend and get to hang out with him. ^_^ That would be enough to bring me insane amounts of happiness.

But I WOULD kiss Bloo. Not marry him, just a kiss.
(In the background, hear's Bloo go... "Yes girls just can't resist my God-like self...")

For cryin' out loud people, stop giving me those weird looks.

Awesome Antgirl1! You said it.

While Wilt's gentlemanly characteristics DO make me have a little bitty crush on him, I'm not absolutely stark raving mad about it. He's a still much more of a role-model-type person to me, too. I've actually found myself being a lot nicer to people and helping out a LOT more, and really enjoying it. Plus, he's kind of inspired me to be WAY more active than what I used to be, and because of that, I've lost almost 10 lbs!

The best part is, if we're treating him like a role model, think of all the younger kids who are soaking that behavior up as well. I don't know about you guys, but when I was little, I learned so much from cartoons, including how to act socially. Hopefully they're learning something from him.

I'd be lying through my teeth like a politician running for office if I said that I didn't find Wilt to be very attractive, physically, but that's not the only reason I find him so appealing. There are plenty of male celebs whom I find attractive, but as they say, the buck stops there. Most are rather shallow, or clueless, some are involved with stuff that they have no business being involved with; whatever the reason, the "total package" is missing. Wilt has at least already demonstrated, through his behavior, that there's a whole lot more to him that a gorgeous smile. He's not a put-on when it comes to being nice. It's not just a public front, but the real deal. He's a genuinely compassionate, caring person, and a real old-fashioned gentleman, the sort who opens doors for people and says "yes, M'am" to total strangers. He's also versitile in what he can do-I hear so many women lament that their husbands can't fix things that break around the house, can't even check the oil in the car-Wilt can do all those things that the "man of the house" used to be expected to take care of "back in the day", and he doesn't MIND doing them! He is also an excellent role model for young kids, especially young boys, if they'd bother really paying attention to him, through his unerring sense of fair play and sportsmanship and his determination. It's obvious from GWH that he and Jordan were not from the best neighborhood, and Jordan acknowledges that without Wilt's guidance in his early years, he might not have turned out to be such a gentleman himself. Kids don't get to see such a positive role model often these days, unless that character is all sappy and sacharine, but Wilt is as tough as he is gentlemanly, and that is a rare gem, indeed.

If he's a role-model, more "Wilts" will be in this world soon enough.

At least, I HOPE.

Agreed, agreed, agreed, to everyone! Maybe, if we're lucky, at least a few "Wilts" are growing up now, and at least our children can experience such (currently lost) chivalry.

Unfortunately, my generation of guys grew up thinking that being rude is "totally radical" and "gnarly". *le sigh*

Maybe that's why nowadays, I'm a sucker for a guy that will just hold the door for me and call me "ma'am" instead of "cutie" or "gorgeous".
