Last night I had a dream about a young child's Harry Potter train set. These little kids called Crookshanks "Africa" and Hermione "Galadriel". Also Harry popped up from a compartment with smoke coming out. The trio were in chibi form and Hagrid was a foot tall. The train came out of Crookshanks mouth for some reason.

LOL GTL that reminds me of some of the messed up dreams I have!
I always have dreams that I see ghosts. I had a dream the other night that I woke up, and I was in my bed, but the light in the room adjacent to mine was on, and I heard shuffling and rustling and footsteps in there. I was kinda freaked out because my room is set up weird - in order to get downstairs, I have to walk through my room and that room. I somehow KNEW that it was a ghost in there. I walked up to the passageway that leads from my room to the other room, being sure to make as much noise as possible to maybe scare it off before I got there. The noises quit when I got right up on the room, and whenever I finally worked up enough nerve to peek in, what I saw made me immediately not frightened anymore. It was a male about my age (18), curled up in the fetal position on the floor looking terrified. I walked up to him because he looked like he needed help, and I asked him what was the matter. He wouldn't tell me, but he kept shaking and started crying and hugging me. He never told me what was wrong, but I think I did some good because while I was hugging him, he eventually stopped crying. Whatever it was, something upset him in the worst of ways. I've always heard of people seeing ghosts in their dreams that turn out to be real ghosts of real people... hopefully this one was just my imagination, not necessarily because I'd be scared, but I'd hate to not be able to help someone who is in that much emotional turmoil for eternity. It started out to be a scary dream, but it ended up being rather sad.

I am an aviation enthusiast (I did take lessons and had some few hours in the Cessna 172). But I have dreams where planes fall out of the sky. Here is one of them:
A friend and myself were riding our bicycles in a neighborhood. I think it is in AZ (despite seeing all the trees along the street). We are near an airport, and I see a DC-9 (an older twin jet engined near the T-tail) airliner either on final or taking off (I don't remember). We stop to watch it, and all of the sudden we hear the engines wind down. The airplane goes into a nose-down plunge. Even though we are more than a mile from the plane, we duck behind a brick wall. We hear a terrific explsion and we still get hit with metal fragments. We look and see larger sections of the aircraft rolling in the street. I look down, and I see a human hand. Then I woke up... |

I had a dream that a T-Rex picked a person up with its mouth and chewed 'em up. I saw everything... *blajdlkguais*

Random dreams
Anyone had any random dreams/nightmares lately, either during sleep or daydreaming? I recently had one where I was at a Deftones gig, which of course, was packed full of people, yet I only felt aware of the girl next to me. The band were playing 'Bored' from their first album, and just as it came to the last minute or so of the song, Chino Moreno, the Deftones' singer, thrust the mic into my face and got me to scream the last part of the song. Then, the band invited everyone onto the stage, and for some reason my laptop was on a table on the stage. Then the Deftones gave everyone green pieces of paper, saying that they would play a gig in each person's local area. My piece of paper said that they would play in Bishop Auckland. And that was that.
Random, I know...kind of wish it had been true, too

A few weeks ago, I had a dream that I was climbing a 100-story building via the stairs. When I got to the top, I got to this... bizzare futuristic hideout complex where people lived as outcasts. Among them was the Daniel Craig portrayal of James Bond...

I have so many random dreams it's not funny. A recent one that particularly comes to mind involved me being attacked by millions of flying toe nail clippers which proceeded to nip off little tiny bits of my skin from all over my body. Fortunately I woke up before they were able to make too much of a dent in me.
I'm sure there are plenty more I could add if I remembered them, but they do all seem to start merging into one after a while. That's how dreams generally are. The only ones that really stand out for me in the long run are those that were especially scary or distressing, for whatever reason.

Please note that I've merged the quoted post, along with those that followed, with this thread, as this one is already about dreams that are not Foster's or Forum related. As it hasn't been updated in over four months, I'm not surprised you missed it. Good topic though; glad to see it revived.

If Disneyland is a place where my dreams come true, then I don't want to go.
Oh, I love recounting dreams to people; it's difficult to keep the details from slipping away in those crucial 30 seconds just after you wake up, but if you can remember them they make for great stories.
It's weird...I hear about and speak to a lot of people who have really meaningful, psychologically symbolic dreams, where their fears or fantasies take shape and tell them things about their subconscious that they might never have even realised were true...whereas I just dream a bunch of bizarre stream-of-consciousness gibberish that usually rips off whatever TV show or movie I happened to have been watching. My recent dreams, for example, have regularly frequented by the cast of Scrubs; I think I was Turk in one of them. I seem to be dreaming about Carla, mostly (but not in that way, you understand ); one time she was part of the crew of the spaceship I was on (?), the other time she was running a book shop with Dr. Kelso, and I was trying to buy Scrubs DVDs off them. I would like to take this simply as a sign that I should, uh, lay off the Scrubs a bit, but then the dream ended with me being presented a complete Sex and the City boxset by Charlie Chaplin. ??? And I have no idea where that came from. And then there was the dream I had last week, where my brother was The Queen of England...oh man, don't even ask how that one worked. I need some counselling, I think.

No, you don't. Your dreams are hilarious.
A few weeks ago, I dreamt that I went to a Muse concert. Halfway through the first song, however, things went bezerk; the lighting and pyrotechnics exploded, brawls ensued and all of the band members vanished. I left the venue and went back home -- and I see Matt Bellamy(singer and lead member) waiting in the front garden. We suddenly interact with each other as if we were familiar friends. We decide to go to the supermarket, eat from cereal boxes without paying for them, get scolded harshly by an angry-looking ghost of Ginny Weasley, and then she decides to join us as we head back to the concert venue. This time, we have backstage VIP passes to U2, whom for some reason were doing covers of Ricky Martin songs. I woke up shortly afterwards. IMO, the really strange part was that it had absolutely nothing to do with Frankie or Goofball... in real life, I can't think about concerts without thinking about that episode...
