Agreed, because even though blushing is supposedly a real-life phenomenon, I've never actually, y'know, seen anyone do it. Only cartoon characters can blush properly.

The only thing I hate about cartoons is when people make bad ones. Happens far too often if you ask me.

That's the thing though, we KNOW blushing exists but we can't really see it, we can only tell someone likes someone through other facial features. But with toons, it's SO much more visual and that's what i love about it. It's so damn cute.

Anime does this really well, characters from Dragon Ball for example, hanging their heads and smiling bashfully as their cheeks go red, it's so lovable. Now Foster's doesn't really have that but that's fine, the flash animation actually shows their facial features very well.

Now in regards to anime being

Quote:
Poorly drawn ones. I know lots of anime aren't famous exactly for the great style, but in certain ones it's so evident it makes me cry. E.g., a character is walking, but you see its movements in pieces. You can totally see they used, like 4 or 5 drawings to make him/her walk down a hallway.
I don't find that a fair attack. Anime is cheap because they ARE cheap, as in literally, Japan animators do not have the money to animate their characters as fluently and fluidly as we do in America, that's why they look this way. That's why anime characters stand still like statues when they talk.

It's not a choice it's something they have to deal with. You gotta understand, it's a whole different system in Japan then it is here, values, morals, beliefs, views. Big difference, big culture. Also, just like in America, certain Animes are drawn with different styles.

Take the movie "Spirited Away" that is a specific and unique design of the animator's styling, totally different from others. Same with Dragon Ball, Trigun, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and so on and so forth. Every animator brings their own unique touch to anime.

I know. That's another of my favourite things about cartoons! Seeing them blush makes me laugh.

Default Violent cartoon ever made

In Japan, there is this cartoon called Genocyber, and it is really violent. Blood, gore, showing people's organs, it is very disgusting to many people. What makes me mad is that the cartoons that Japan releases into the US , are CENSORED all because of the FCC's strict guidelines. That's why Ren and Stimpy was cancelled on Nick , because there were too many things that Nick hated in the cartoon, so finally they fired John Kricfalusi, and started making Ren and Stimpy cartoons without the staff at SPUMCO. Cartoon censorship is making the show creators very angry, and ruining the 1st Amendment, and we need to stop the FCC before they censor something else! You see these smilies? That's how the characters on FOSTER's feel on cartoon censorship.

Go to www.youtube.com, and type in "Genocyber"
You'll see what I'm talking about...

I'm getting tired of the network executives and the FCC pushing the cartoon creators around! Cartoon censorship should be ELIMINATED ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!!!

This is how the characters of FOSTER's feel on cartoon censorship:

The GOVERNMENT and the NETWORK EXECUTIVES should learn that we love cartoons, and we love to see them UNCUT and UNEDITED, PERIOD.

I also want to study cartooning in the tratidional 2D way, because I absolutely HATE 3D animation. Its replacing 2D animation, and I don't want that to happen. I just think cartoons are easier when you draw them, but in order to design a cartoon character for a Macromedia Flash movie, you have to use Adobe Illustrator to create a model, and you must use the pen tool to do that. I absolutely hate the pen tool. Don't get me wrong, I want to use Macromedia Flash for my cartoon projects in the near future. I just want to become a cartoonist/animator without going to college.
