The King of The Hill DVD's did it too for the first couple of season sets, and even though it's not animation, the movie "This is Spinal Tap" had a hilarious
in-character commentary track.

I think the Foster's commentraies will work due to the strong cast, after all Tom Kenny, Phil Lamarr, Grey DeLislie, Tom Kane, Tara Strong and Candi Milo are Voice over/comedy ventrans so they certainly know how to improv, and once Keith Furguson gets into the character of Bloo he can even just read out of a phone book and still make it sound funny*, and of course Sean Maquette being the other corner stone of this program has proven time and time again he can bring the funny.

(*Now that I think about it, I would pay good money to see 22 minuets of Bloo reading names out of a telephone book.)

The only down side to this is that February is a long ways away.

Other then that, I'm am danceing on my head. I'm so excited! Now I'll be able to show my mom the great episodes she always misses (She likes the show but would NEVER admit it

) and why the show is an emmy winning one.

It's your money. Why can't you? Not that excited since season 1 is my least favorite (still Red's in it! Is he or is thats eason 2?

I'm buying with my money 'cause I don't need my mom nagging me about buying a cartoon DVD with her money. I bet she'll be like, "What happens if you don't like the cartoon anymore? It's going to waste my money."

I'm hoping for the character commentaries to last into the sets for the other DVDs... and, of course(I promise I won't freak out about it again, but...), I also really hope it won't be a "Foster's Five"-exclusive affair, and that Frankie, Madame Foster, Mr. Herriman will get involved.
