Something about him strikes people. Even myself, after I got over being annoyed by him. I just got a bunch of friends into watching Fosters, and they love Cheese. He's by no means their only source of enjoyment, or even their favourite character (preferring Wilt, or Frankie, which I told them was "everyone's favourite"), but we do generally greet each other now with "I like chocolate milk" and "I have dermatitis".

I strongly urge you not to do that too loudly while out in public.

Haha, yeah, you've got to admit his lines are certainly memorable. I too am guilty of using Cheese lines just as often if not moreso than Bloo lines. It's just his character can get so annoying at times. I can understand why he's popular, but not why he's soooooooooo center-of-the-show popular to so many people.

I believe it (as far as many people at Comic-Con saying that they really loved Cheese). In a sense, it does increase the audience of the series. On the other hand, it's somewhat depressing that Cheese is the only reason anyone would watch (hopefully, it's just them saying that it's one character that's on their minds, and not the only thing they like about the show).

I'm certainly not saying I dislike Cheese, but I too have to shrug my shoulders in bewilderment at his overwhelming popularity. He puts me in mind of a line from Pulp Fiction, "You ARE a character. Doesn't mean you HAVE character." He can occasionally be funny, but in comparison to the other characters, he seems to be noteable for his lack of any real personality more than anything else. For such a wild card, he's kinda monotonous.

My cousin is only more interested in watching a Foster's ep if Cheese is present. As for myself, I can honestly say I've never quoted him. Just never felt the need to. Though I have quoted Bloo and Mac on occasion.

I mean he's funny and all (and I love how his head flaps like that of a Canadian on South Park), but tangential, irrelevant non-sequiturs can really only take a character/series so far. Like that time I made a snide reference to a cartoon that's lived on this formula for years.

... and I Dream of Frankie *swoon* I really didn't like cheese at first, and not to sound at all like Bloo's speech at the end of Macdaddy, but I have grown to like cheese. He's definitely the master of the one-liners. Certainly not close to the only reason I watch the show, but cheese is definitely alright in small servings.
