Default Wizard of Fosters Fanart Thread

It's something that's gonna be somewhat of a doodle mountain so I thought I'd make a basic thread where I'd post the sketches. And maybe tidbits of info why I drew what I did, and scenes from the fic I'm writing.

Either way, so far the casing is such:

Mac plays the role of Dorothy Gale, swept away by a twister to the land of Oz. Accompanying him at first is Bloo, who I guess you could call Toto but a very sarcastic unhelpful Toto at that. Glinda the good witch of the North is to be portrayed by Frankie, who sends Mac and Bloo down the yellow brick road to meet the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Along the way Mac and Bloo will encounter a ten foot tall, long limbed scarecrow who has a mighty resemblance to Wilt. He's awful at his job for he has no brain, so Mac offers to take him along with them. Then they encounter a metalic birdplantplane thing who bares a striking resemblance to Coco. She explains how she is without a heart, and once again Mac allows her to come with them to ask the Wizard for one. Bloo ain't happy at how Mac's picking up all these weirdoes. Finally before they reach the Emerald City they encounter a lion as purple as anything, and with a yellow streak ten miles wide. He needs courage; so off they go.

It's a classic story all of us of course know and I too know I'm gonna have a blast writing this whole thing out. But what's more, I'm going to love drawing what I have in mind.

But what you're about to see below isn't from the Wizard of Oz, but based on the musical Wicked. Which in turn is based on a book seen as a 'before' Wizard of Oz. Seems that the Scarecrow was once a man, who was in love with the Wicked Witch of the West who was named Elphaba. This sparked an idea in my mind, and so I had to draw up Wilt as the Scarecrow, with Duchess who is the Wicked Witch of the West. I hardly call it a 'pairing' since I won't be writing them, or probably drawing them again. But I've been complimented it was an interesting idea to take on, so here you go.

So I did save you.
After believing her lover been tortured to death by an angry mob and failed him, the Witch is delighted to see he is still alive. Just not human anymore.

Don't look back
Having faked her death, the Witch and the Scarecrow escape the Emerald City.

I drew Duchess' hair how me and Fala imagine it. She's like a piece of artwork, 2D. So what's to say her hair isn't like blank canvas paper? Maybe when she was created by her artistic little child, he or she would actually paint things on her hair which would clean off after so long. It's an interesting comcept.

Either way, check back. You'll see how I'm going to work more on Coco, Eduardo, Duchess, Frankie, Mr. Herriman; the whole lot.

And please don't kill me for drawing something atkin to Wilt/Duchess. Please?
