Oh gosh, they're waaaayyy too many books I like. I can read just about anything, given that it isn't a cheesy romance novel.
Well, some of my favorites include Of Mice and Men, Napoleon's Buttons, Complications: A Surgeon's Notes on an Imperfect Science, and Black Beauty (it was the first book I actually felt emotionally touched by). I would count Gray's Anatomy too, but not many people consider an Anatomy book interesting (well, anyone who isn't a huge geek like me anyways). As for book series, I like A Series of Unfortunate Events, Artemis Fowl, and the Chicken Soup books to name a few. There are so many books I love, but if I actually took time to list them, I'd be, well, wasting time! =P Last edited by Amritama; 10-06-2006 at 03:08 PM. |

Book 12 was my favorite one in the series, though I'm hoping book 13 will replace it. I reserved The End at my local Borders and will be getting 20% off of the original price (I'm a Borders Rewards member, so that's where the discount came from). If I didn't have exams the week after the release day, I would've planned to go to B&N for their release party. Argh, well, at least I'll have the book in my gritty hands.
Eeek, I'm really excited to read the end of the series! Last edited by Amritama; 10-07-2006 at 08:26 AM. |

I love the Baudelaire orphans equally, though I'm slightly bias towards Violet. I just love how inventive and resourceful she is. She may not be an avid reader like Klaus, but she is a very intelligent girl.
Ehh, I think this thread is going a bit off topic with my ASOUE talk, so... I'll stop rambling about the series now. Oh, and for my favorite books, I want to add Matilda. I'm a sucker for Roald Dahl's works, and I really love the protagonist in that book. Who couldn't like an intelligent little girl like Matilda? Well, I can name a few people I know who disliked her (and the book in general), but that's not my point. Last edited by Amritama; 10-07-2006 at 08:25 AM. Reason: I have a weird tendency of wanting to spell "Roald" as "Ronald." |
