Oh yes, the upcoming rock band episode that was hinted about on the production blog sometime ago when it was still active.

And Judging from the description of that clip, it looks like at least some of the episode will be done in a music documentary style. If that is the case I do hope they threw in some references to "This is Spinal Tap"

In regards to your spoiler'd text t, I will be shocked if they don't do that. Many many people won't get it, but oh well for them.

I just hope the Foster's band doesn't play anything similar lyrics-wise!

(I know they won't.)

They do get away with doing the occasional reference to Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, which more then likely goes over the heads of most of the people watching and the episode title The Big Lablooski was a take off of the the title of the mature and very un-kiddie flick The Big Labowski (Complete with cameos from the main characters of that film.) So yeah precedent has been set time and again in that respect.
