Wow this sounds terrible! I haven't seen the shortend intro yet but it still really bothers me that they'd do that! Seriously 10 seconds isn't gonna change anything!

Has anyone tried to e-mail to CN to ask why they shortened the Foster's intro?

No point in doing it. CN's "too big of a company" to deal with e-Mail.

You'll most likely get a cookie-cutter response of "Thank you for your concerns, we will take your advice into consideration. Thank you." As much as that sucks, that's how ALL FORMS of customer service usually work.

Hi there!
Yeah, I have seen the shortened opening. Since the begining of "Foster's" (which is how long i've been watching), during the theme song I do this little, crazy dance that fits in with the music. The morning I watched the shortened opening, not only I had to do the dance faster than before but I noticed that there were parts missing.
I liked the longer opening better. And I agree, it does sound unnaturally rushed. It just doesn't sound right. Last edited by fostersfan666; 08-11-2007 at 05:40 PM. Reason: Lots of Mistskes |

I'd be interested in seeing this shortened intro. Anyone know where I can find it?

I gotta wonder why this show is the only one to get the shorter introduction treatment, and the other CN originals do not. Part of me is hoping it's just a summertime thing, but the rest has this feeling that it'll be permanent.

i was preparing food for the dogs and had my back turned from the TV, and noticed that they left out a pretty good chunk of the theme song. a feeling of 'o i see what u did there' came over me.
i think its all to make room for more commercials and such. 10 seconds may not feel like a lot, but when they also cut time out of other commercials, cutting out bits and pieces here and there, it adds up just enough to squeeze in another commercial, which means more money for them. :[ but i dont think writing them a letter to ask would do much good, theyre a big big company and probably only .3% (totally made that percentage up) of their emails actually get replies. idk. the whole shortening thing doesnt bother me much though. |

Y'know, I only just thought of this, but Fosters has the greatest intro to any CN cartoon I've ever seen. And that's including The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy one, which rocks out loud. This is probably why this thing bugs me so much, even though I don't even have to put up with it.
