They didn't have it at my Wal-Mart store, either. Some releases get the DVDs later than others, from what I've learned. If you cannot get it online or want to get it locally, keep checking back with your nearest retailers.

Okay, I'm sorry for posting back-to-back, but there's something I want to address. SynDuo told me that he went through many sets, claiming that he couldn't view the second disc on any of his DVD players at all. Has anyone else faced this problem? If so, please mention it.

No, unfortunately I was told by both Best Buy and Suncoast that (and this was the same deal as with the GBA game) that it might be released, but the stores won't get them automatically because of projected low demand. You have to special-order it.

Oh, and the "low demand" thing kinda bites. I hope this doesn't affect its chances of being released in Region 2. Anyhow, thanks for providing that link, Sparky, since I imagine it'll be a while before I get to experience it for myself. I particularly love the packaging art. And the Gallery of Friends is also pretty interesting, for all the additional background information it provides about the minor characters.

I got mine at Target yesterday, but I had to wait until my significant other was done watching "Gilmour Girls" before being able to play it. I am now on the "Busted" episode.

I'm not surprised by the "low demand"/can't-find-it-anywhere dilemma. Foster's, despite reportedly being one of the highest-rated originals on CN, is unfortunately not popular or well-known in the mainstream on the same level as SpongeBob or Fairly OddParents or Avatar(I've read repeatedly that Nickelodeon almost always crushes CN in the ratings). I'm crossing my fingers that the local Borders will have it, since they have a far more expansive and varied catalog of DVDs.
But anyway... I checked the DVD page, and I must say it looks GREAT. I really want to listen to the Store Wars commentary track. This DVD and the upcoming Frankie comic-book will definitely keep me happy until whenever Season 5 is ready to debut. |
