I was the anti-green vegetable when I was little... I now am addicted to spinach (yum!). and I tolerate everything else.
Except I won't eat celery without peanut butter... And never ranch dressing, which is what everyone else does apparently. I can't stand ranch dessing on anything... And now I will stop babbling about vegetables... It makes you wonder what was in "it" that Bloo hated so much... -Marty

I never had any problems with celery, broccoli, spinach, or any of those when I was little. Of course, that only happened because my mom never told me what it was, so I would always just eat it without thinking twice.
Come to think of it, that's how she got me to try most new foods.....trickery! |

I'm moving this thread to the "Way Off Topic" area, as celery, while a pleasant and versatile vegetable, isn't really a major Foster's subject. Nice topic, though.

LOL Point taken. THough it WAS specifically about Bloo and HIS taste for celery...so it was slightly Foster's related.

I've always liked veggies, even as a kid. There were very few I wouldn't eat. I was like the "opposite" child, because my parents had trouble getting me to eat beef, even burgers! I still think it's kind of gross.
I've never had brussels sprouts, but if they taste anything like the brussels sprouts Jones soda, COUNT ME OUT! Seriously... that stuff tasted like... like... I don't know. It was really, really bad though. I couldn't even swallow the first sip.

Brussels sprouts are an aquired taste. I like them best with a little lemon juice. I also like to peel a few of them apart, dice the leaves, and add them to pasta sauce. They're good, but most people think they're an ingredient in "IT".

I believe fondess for veggies is gender-biased,because guys are more apt to shun eating those healthy greens than girls would.
