I assumed he just suffered from a form of paranoia; or at least something else psychological. Cancer is, like kageri said, a physical affliction, and autism is an extremely broad range of inabilities of the brain to communicate properly with itself (hoping not to offend if that isn't quite correct).

Yeah, I agree Ed's just paranoid if when he eats one he may choke on it. I don't get how potatoes trigger cancer.

Cancer? Autism?
Huh? I'm sorry, but I am confused. Cancer is a malignant tumor that tends to invade healthy tissue and spread to new sites. Autism is abnormal subjectivity; a form of childhood schizophrenia characterized by acting out and withdrawal. Being afraid and overly cautious has little or no relevance to cancer or autism. I agree with the others. Ed is paranoid. |

I'm part of the Autistic spectrum(I have Asperger's), and I don't get that poll at all.
I always thought Eduardo was simply somebody with the mind and heart of a child. |

Lol, big words.
I think he's kinda paranoid, not cancer or autism... Autism is kinda different. I can know, I know some people with Autism. As of cancer... I have no idea how you come up with that. I don't think cancer has anything to do with autism or Eduardo himself. LDE: We're really not flaming you or something... Really don't mind this as being mean, OK? It's just kinda weird of thinking that. A 'Paranoid' option should be added, maybe? |

WTF? I am a very intelligent, educated person, and I totally do NOT get this at all! What does cancer or autism have to do with Ed's behavior? He's just paranoid, since he's scared of so many things. Ed always tends to think of the "worst case scenario", which is something many little children do to try to make an argument in support of their childhood fears. Eduardo thinks like a four-year-old, and if you have ever tried to reason with a four-year-old about something like say...a monster in the closet, you would know what I mean. A lot of old people get like this, too; my grandmother would always think of the most horrific things that could happen to me if I slipped up and told her that I was driving to a dog show or something four hours away. It's their way of getting others to go along with them and see things their way. Eduardo was embarrassed about being afraid of the "Whizbee", so he kept elaborating on things so that the others would hopefully see his point in the alleged dangers in mundane things. Nothing to do with autism or cancer at all.
