Happy birthday!! I enjoyed Silent Hill in the theatre but I don't know if I'll be getting the DVD. Since the only thing I liked about the movie were the visuals, I think it just wouldn't be as cool on a TV screen as it was in the theatres.

Thanks a lot, everyone
So, I promised that I'd list the gifts that I scored on my actual birthday, didn't I? Okay, I got two DVDs: Benny & Joon and Finding Neverland, a watch, some lotion, a new cell phone (which I received two months prior to my b-day ), and a card from my sister with Bloo on the front and it says "17!..." and then inside it says, "...but you're never too old for imaginary friends. Happy birthday! Love (yo' sista') Megan". And my mom let me have some wine, even though I'm only 17. It didn't taste so great though. |

She obviously didn't give you very good wine. Tell her to buy something sweeter.

That's what my aunt told me when I said I didn't like the wine very much. My dad told me I should drink the "red things" that my mom drinks, but he doesn't want me getting hooked on those XD

Well, wine is actually quite good in small quantities, you just have to undertsand that nowadays the point of it is for taste rather than guzzling as it was back when drinking water was instant death.

I don't get to drink much wine, because I live in "dry" county (a county that prohibits the sale of alcohol), even though one restaurant just recently got a license to serve them. As Kzin said, one a taste of it isn't bad (it's supposed to be good for the heart), but when you go overboard, look out. Anyway, it sounds like you had a nice b-day.

I live in pennsylvaina, which is nuts about wine and stuff like that. So don't tell anyone. *looks shifty*
