I know and this year you won't even be there to rescue us. So it'd be even worse if it happens again.

Anyways I can't take the car tomorrow, I think I have to wait until Wednesday. Because the check GM gave me to cover it, I forgot until tonight how it takes until, I think it's Tuesday evening to clear if you deposit it after 5 pm on Friday. It's such a long time to wait for money! So that ticks me off.

Yeah...that is a concern. I hope you two don't have any problems with the vehicle this year.

I can't go to the 2008 ComiCon! What is REALLY screwed up is the fact I lived in Imperial Beach when I was in the Navy, and I went every year. Now I live five hours away (in AZ), and STILL cannot go. These last few years have been putting out fires in my life; this year it was selling a home, and helping with the GF's new business. Why can't people in my life, mind their business, so I can enjoy my business at the Con (like I did when I was a simple sailor).

I dunno.

Uhh, well, my family's been quite annoying. I KNOW they care about me, etc. But they could cut out the whole "Glancing at me ALL THE TIME" part.

Also, lack of food to eat in the house.

It may not tick me off so much as just sadden and depress me, but I can't go to the Con either. Throughout last December, I was seriously planning on it, looking at maps of SD and price ranges for air fare and lodging. I chose three hotels to try for (if my first choice fell through, I'd go for my second, and then third). But come January, all those hopes came to a screeching halt. Word of advise to any in college, if you've taken out student loans, pay them off ASAP, and send more than the minimum payment if you can, and send payments on a regular basis. Sending in payments "whenever you can", even if it's more than the minimum required, won't cut it if it's sporadic. They will hunt you down and find you, and garnish your wages. It's embarrassing admitting that, but someone might be able to learn from my mistakes, so I'll say it anyway. It hurts, it truly hurts, it ruined my life. To make things even worse, this happens to me just as the economy in my country goes "splat". There was just no way, no how, I'd have been able to make it this year.

If I did the math right, my debt should be paid off next winter sometime, so at having money again, hopefully *crosses fingers* I'll be able to make it next year. So, life will go on. This too shall pass.

I wish there was some way I could magically get both of you there, you and several other people here; I was looking forward to meeting you all. But as you said, there's always next year. Hopefully I'll see y'all then.
