What he lacks in height he more than makes up for with attitude. It works well for him, and for the show.

Bloo has some of the best expressions ever. It's hard for me to not crack up when he's very happy or very sad.

I think my favorite of his expressions is the one where he's surprised and has his mouth wide open. I've never seen a character's mouth stretch quite like his.

Bloo has got the "attitude." I think that makes up for his size!

Bloo's eyes pop out!
Bloo's the best, his expressions are so great & he's basically the main comedy of Foster's, yes Cheese, Goo, Mac, Frankie, Wilt, Ed & Coco are alos very funny, but Bloo IS the basis of most of the comedy in the show. |

The Best Character on the Show

Oh, there's no denying that Bloo is the character here to make us laugh. In general, his main purpose in the series is to be Mac's "id" in a way, performing just about any of the acts Mac wouldn't be crazy enough to perform. These, of course, lead to some of the funniest moments in the series, and especially when it leads to one of Mac and Bloo's verbal arguments with each other.
I think, of all his moments though, my favorite moment with him (and possibly in the entire series) has to be when Frankie and Mac are "teaching" him about sarcasm. Bloo: I would like a coooo-KIIIEE! Mac:....Wait, are you being sarcastic? Bloo: I am being huuunn-GRRYY! The way he stressed the last part of each sentence, his facial expression as he did so, and his obvious obliviousness towards what he was doing was just sheer brilliance.

You wanna know something kinda funny and yet kinda disturbing I realized about Bloo? I was watching a show one night and as I watched it, I realized something very surprising.
Bloo has alot in common with a character I didn't think anyine could relate to. Bloo fans shouldn't bash me for this because I honestly DO see alot of similarities, I think Bloo is very similar to this guy:

I mean yeah, take away the swearing and the sex but you got basically a short, blue colored midget version of Master Shake. I mean think about it:
-They both care about pretty much themselves. -They both make up stupid crap stories to prove their right. -They're both pretty crummy "best friends". -They both only care what's going on when it DIRECTLY involves them. -And they both want "everything", even when they don't know what it is they want.
