Hmm. Maybe I'm not upset I didn't manage to see the float.

Well, when you'll all be enjoying your turkey dinners tonight, I'll be helping myself to a different kind of bird, namely a heaping helping of crow.

I am sorry, I honestly did not believe that Rick was going to appear at this parade in any way shape or form, much less on the Foster's float, until I got the video evidence staring itself right in my face.

Invader Bloo, I owe you an apology.

Sorry.

So the whole rickrolling thing really happened then?

*Checks video evidence*

I'm gob-smacked. And I tip my hat to your superior foresight, IB.

At the very least, and as Lynnie already pointed out, the song itself is more-or-less appropriate for Mac and Bloo. Although, to echo yet another of Lynnie's points, having Cheese pop up and say that at the end definitely felt like a step too far.

Considering the number of people watching who have no idea of what "Rick Roll'ing" even is, it was either essential as an explanation or just adding further to the confusion...

Thanks.

The aborted song which Bloo was singing was "Best Friend" by Harry Nilsson. I can make it out better in that video.

I remember hearing that song in an episode of that 70s show once, but not otherwise. actually a pretty good song.

I'm starting to think that cheese saying what he said was pointless. the people who know what rickrolling is wouldnt need to be told, and those who dont probably wouldnt get it anyway.

and i suppose "never gonna give you up" would fit for mac and bloo. but i always thought it was a love song. I dont think mac and bloo love each other that way (well, unless you read fanfics, but i digress.)
