Angry

Well, this was a fun way to break up the morning. At 1:07 AM here the fire alarm went off. I left my apartment and found that there was a strong scent in the hallway of something burning, so for a change this might be something serious. I went back to my place, threw a few valuables in a grocery bag, and it's off to the sidewalk I go. Soon thereafter two firetrucks, three police cruisers, and an ambulance showed up. I and a lot of other people spent the next half-hour out in the cold night, wondering what was going on, and for what? For the firemen to put out a bad cooking fire caused by the idiots who live across the hall from me. Seems that they decided to have a couple of burgers or some such thing as a morning snack but were too drunk to stay fully awake for the entire cooking process. The firemen brought in some high-powered portable fans which dissipated the smoke but not my anger. They've done this before, y'know, and I guarantee you they'll do it again and again until they inadvertently start a major fire and someone gets seriously hurt or killed. Did I mention that they live right across the hall from me? Yeah. Wish me luck.

Ah, well... good luck! :p

What ticks ME off? My scanner has been broken for 3 months, and the repairman says "In two weeks!"
...yeah.

Here's one I just discovered...People who use the word "lucious." And there's never an excuse to use it more than once in a half hour.

Anything in the popular culture.

The Hendrick drivers, Kyle Busch, Jeff Burton, and Regan Smith (Those are all NASCAR drivers btw; I happen to love racing!)

Bill O'Reilly

Tornadoes. Especially when they do enough damage to knock out my electricity.

I'm familiar with Bill O'Reilly, and whether or not I like him, I would probably not mention him here, since I could see this turning into a nasty political discussion. I would be very careful.

I'm sick of them, too. Fortunately after today, we get a break from this kind of weather.

Cheap fabrics.

I bought a cute pair of pjs about a year ago consisting of pink bottoms with pastel polka dots and a ribbed long sleeve top of the same shade of pink. The bottoms are fine. But the top is made of cheap fabric. After a few washings, the top shrunk length wise, yet stretched width wise. When once it hung over my hips, it's now mid riff baring. When once its sleeves were long enough to cover my hands and keep them warmer, they're now 3/4 length. And it's very baggy and almost "ruffly". Like a bolero jacket. I keep seeing it in my drawer, and remembering how it's messed up, but decide to give them "one more try". But after the first night of wearing them I'm irritated to no end again. I'm so mad. They were such great pajamas the first two or three times I wore them!

I should just try to find another top to match. I do still like the bottoms.

Here's one. I really hate getting less stuff done than I would like; or the lack of motivation. Those kind of days stink.
