From one Christmas special to another...

Phineas and Ferb's Christmas Vacation

This was just awesome. Dr. Doofenshmirtz was at his brilliant best again ('And a partridge on an evil scientist. That's not even a play on words!' ), the songs were great, and the absolute best part was

when Baljeet was at Wendy Stinglehopper's house. She noticed the mistletoe above and kissed him... causing Baljeet to do a dip-smooch on Wendy!

My dad got "The Muppet Show" season 1 on DVD for Christmas, so that's what we're watching now. I have season 2, but man, I miss this show! What a riot!

Martin Morning

Needless to say, it wasn't the version that I thought it was going to be. But still, it's still a good series, if you've heard of it that is.

Default Finally a show on TLC

That doesn't want to make me run to the hills screaming my lungs out.

That show is...Cake Boss.

Although they should post a disclaimer in front of every episode warning not to watch the show on an empty stomach.

Man, those guys are AMAZING! The cakes are absolutely beautiful when they're done. They do not look like food at all. I've seen a few episodes, including the one where they accidentally drop the cake down the stairs on their way to deliver it. Whoa! But they pulled through and made another one just in time. I would not want to be working in that kitchen though.

I'm watching the new Chowder episode right now, "The Heist". And they parodied PPG for a second! Chowder smells a "sugar sapphire" in the ground and digs it up. Mung tastes it and it's soooooooo sweet he turns into Bubbles for a second and says, in Bubbles' voice, "Whoa, that's sweet!!" I clapped, and rewound my DVR to watch it again. It was great!

Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Village of the Giants.

Another giant (No pun intended) cheese fest from the master of schlock, Bert I Gordon. In which a group of "evil" teenagers steal a growth serum and use their new found enhanced size to take over a small town.

Staring Tommy Kirk, Beau Bridges and Ron Howard as "The Genius" (And no, I am not making a joke, that was the name of his character.)

Ashes To Ashes

Just been catching up on the second series of this, a sci-fi/police drama that first aired in early '08. In a nutshell: a modern day cop is shot by a fleeing criminal, and wakes up from her unconsciousness to find she's been transported back in time to 1981. With the help of a no-nonsense DCI and his team of equally no-nonsense cops, she must somehow try and find a way back to present day.

This is also the sequel to "Life On Mars" which was the same premise, except that involved time travel back to the 70s.
