New Groove is seriously lacking appreciation is the fan department, and it's a shame because that was sone of the few, and I stress this, FEW adult smart funny animated movies that worked more towards adults then kids.

Villains though are my claim to fame, I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOOOOOVE villains, cartoons bring out some of the best villains, Disney in particular. Disney makes fantastic villains and they always have the most memorable voices and names.

My favorites include Jafar, Scar, Hades, Hopper, Shere Khan, Ratigan, Frollo, and almost EVERY villain from Disney's Darkwing Duck!!!

The Emperor's Groove is like my favorite movie ever. I'm so glad they trashed the prince/pauper kingdom of the sun garbage for it.

Hades is AWESOME. I loooove villains! Unless they're evil for NO REASON at all, or for a stupid one, cause then they don't seem real. Like the Queen from Snow White. Hey she's prettier than me, go carve her heart out while I turn myself into an old hag!

Hmm... I'd have to say that my least favourite thing is about cartoons is the stereo types used for the british. I find them offensive

Are you British, Vampyre?

Just out of interest. That kinda took me by surprise.

Oh man, totally. That would have been disastrous. Or maybe not disastrous, just boring and lame. If I had a llama that cute, my life would be complete.

I think someone mentioned this here before but I hate how most female villains are motivated to be evil by jealousy, particularly over beauty. It's just.... bah.

Speaking of discarded movie script, the one I really wanted to see was the original idea for the Incredibles, where syndrome was just the start off villain, and the main villain was a guy called Xerek. This was when it was still being kicked around by Warners not too long after the Iron Giant.
Man, Incredibles is one of my fave movies of all time.

Well I'll be. So what stereotypes in particular are you thinking of? I get bored of the Hugh Grant english jerk stereotype but even that's real funny especially when directed at Hugh Grant. Generally I find stereotypes greatly amusing. The fact that theyre often nothing like real people they're meant to represent is also part of the fun.

Humorous stereotypes used in cartoons these days are usually crafted to be more absurd than insulting.

There's a reason why the Mackenzie brothers were quite popular in Canada, and why Texans loved King of the Hill.
