I have no idea why but "Beautiful Disaster" by 311 always reminds me of Foster's, specifically Partying Is Such Sweet Soiree.

"I will always return" by Brian Adams
Edit: I changed my mind, this reminds me of Mac and his promise to Bloo that he'll visit him everyday.
I hear the wind Call my name A sound that leads me home again It sparks up the fire A flame that still burns To you, I will always return I know the road is long But where you are is home Wherever you stay I'll find the way I'll run like the river I'll follow the sun I'll fly like an eagle To where I belong I can't stand the distance I can't dream alone I can't wait to see you Yes, I'm on my way home And now I know it's true My every road leads to you And in the hour of darkness Your light gets me through You run like the river You shine like the sun Yeah You fly like an eagle Yeah, you are the one I've seen every sunset And with all that I've learned Oh... It's to you I will always Always return.

I always thought of Insane in the Brain by Cypress Hill. Because they're all a little loco.

For whatever reason, I imagine Wilt singing-a-long to Toto's "Africa."
I hear the drums echoing tonight But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation Shes coming in 12:30 flight The moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation I stopped an old man along the way Hoping to find some long forgotten words or ancient melodies He turned to me as if to say, hurry boy, its waiting there for you Chorus: Its gonna take a lot to drag me away from you Theres nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do I bless the rains down in africa Gonna take some time to do the things we never had The wild dogs cry out in the night As they grow restless longing for some solitary company I know that I must do whats right Sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti I seek to cure whats deep inside, frightened of this thing that Ive become Chorus (instrumental break) Hurry boy, she's waiting there for you Its gonna take a lot to drag me away from you Theres nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do I bless the rains down in Africa, I bless the rains down in Africa I bless the rains down in Africa, I bless the rains down in Africa I bless the rains down in Africa Gonna take some time to do the things we never had Last edited by L.G.; 07-31-2008 at 07:33 PM. |

Frankie Foster comes to mind when I hear Buddy Guy's "Let Me Show You." Sorry, ya gotta love the blues to understand the song.

"You Are The Woman" - Firefall
I heard this at Price Rite while shopping this afternoon and immediately thought of Frankie.
You are the woman that I've always dreamed of I knew it from the start I saw your face and that's the last I've seen of my heart It's not so much the things you say to me It's not the things you do It's how I feel each time you're close to me That keeps me close to you You are the woman that I've always dreamed of I knew it from the start I saw your face and that's the last I've seen of my heart It's not so much your pretty face I see It's not the clothes you wear It's more that special way you look at me That always keeps me there You are the woman that I've always dreamed of I knew it from the start I saw your face and that's the last I've seen of my heart It's hard to tell you all the love I'm feeling That's just not my style You've got a way to send my senses reeling Every time you smile You are the woman that I've always dreamed of I knew it from the start I saw your face and that's the last I've seen of my heart I saw your face and that's the last I've seen of my heart Of my heart Oh oh of my heart |

I don't know why, but this song "Wherever you are"by Barry Coffing
and Vonda Shepard from the movie, "Pooh's Grand Adventure", reminds me of how much Wilt misses Jordan in GWH. |

I can't remember if anyone picked it yet, but I pegged "Shining Star" by Earth Wind and Fire to be a pretty good Anthem for Wilt.
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=f2UmP6C9rcs And The Mighty Mighty Bosstones song "The Impression That I Get" reminds me a lot about Eduardo. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=v7A8Mkg1qYQ Especially for lyrics such as this I'm not a coward, Ive just never been tested Id like to think that if I was, I would pass Look at the tested and think there but for the grace go I might be a coward, I'm afraid of what I might find out.

Collide by Howie Day makes me think of Mac and Bloo's relationship.
Without You by Badfinger also makes me think of our boy and his buddy, but also about how they may fall apart soon.... |
